Years in the making, now available on DVD! The MMTA pre-training workshop "Reading the Ephemeris" was conducted by Raymond Merriman on Septebmer 15-16, 2012.
The entire two-day workshop was professionally filmed and edited into an 8-DVD set with case -- a must-have for any market trader, analyst, or student. The course workbook is also included.

The Three Categories of Students in the MMTA

Please note (Sept. 2014): Live classes are now completed. Therefore, the "Apprentice" and "Online" student categories are no longer available. The "Open Entry/Open Exit" option, for viewing the courses as streaming online video, is currently the only option offered. For complete information on the courses and pricing for this option, please click here.

There are three categories of students who may be accepted into MMTA. Each category has different requirements, admission standards, and payment schedules.

The cost for the two-year, 8-course MMTA training program is $20,000, or $10,000 per year. Each category of enrollment has its own payment plan.

1. MMTA Apprentice: The first category is known as MMTA "Apprenticeship." This category is limited to 6-18 individuals (approximately 12 students, +/- 6). The actual number accepted will be determined based on several factors.

  • Requirements for MMTA Apprentices
  • 1. Commitment to be physically present at each of the 8 courses, on-site, in Troy, Michigan. That means to be physically present 4 times per year, for two years, over three-day weekends. Exceptions are allowed for those traveling from overseas. For instance, if one is from Asia or the Pacific Rim (Australia, New Zealand), then it is only required to be present for the first course each year, but a promise to view the raw footage within two weeks following each other course. If one is from Europe or South America, then it is only required to be present for the first and last course (two courses) each year, but a promise to view the raw footage within two weeks following each other course. If one is able to attend more than those required sessions, they are encouraged to do so.

    2. Completion of Application Form and application fee ($35.00) for this category.

    3. Passage of the "Entrance Exam" ($50.00 fee for examination only) based on the "Basic Principles of Geocosmic Studies for Financial Market Timing: How to Read an Ephemeris." This material can be learned via the DVD on the same subject offered by MMTA. Or if you know this material, you may simply take an equivalency exam to demonstrate your grasp of the subject.

    4. Applications must be received only during certain announced time windows. For instance, the first time window is in effect only until October 15, 2012. If any applicants who are accepted prior to that time decide they cannot make that commitment, then openings will be announced and a second time window for receipt of applications will take place until all positions are filled.

    5. Two interviews: One by an MMTA staff member and a final one by Raymond Merriman. The intent of this interview is to determine the level of passion and commitment to the program, as well as one's expected level of competency and integrity that will reflect upon the reputation of the Academy.

    6. To be considered as an apprentice, you must be a subscriber of at least one of the MMA subscription reports for at least 2 months prior to the start of the course in April 2013. In other words, you must be familiar with MMA terminology in real time.

    7. To stay in this program, you must pass all tests at the end of each course, complete work assignments with your "team" between each course, pass a final exam at the end of the first year, and pass a competency exam at the end of the second year. (Apprentices will be assigned to work with other apprentices in a "team.")

  • Advantages of Being an MMTA Apprentice
    • You will learn more since you will be part of all the discussions that take place during breaks, lunches, dinners, etc. You will have the opportunity to interact with other students and therefore your learning will be greatly broadened.
    • You will be known as that special category of students who completed this training directly with Raymond Merriman -- the "Apprentices." No other students will have this special designation. In time, once the school's standards are recognized in the financial world for their excellence, this may carry a special level of recognition in the field.
    • Your fees will be less than those who are open entry/open exit students.
    • You will have been a part of a special lifetime learning experience with other students and instructors from all over the world who were specially selected to be the first and only live participants of MMTA. We believe this will be a richly rewarding, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, for all those involved. Personal bonds with others will be created that may become invaluable throughout life.
    • Upon successful completion of all stages of this training, you will receive a special certificate of completion that designates you as completing the "Apprentice" category of the MMTA training. You will also receive a gift of all DVD's made of the course, which may in turn allow you to teach these methods to other students, pending further approval from MMTA.
    • Apprentice category students will be considered for future positions within MMA, MMTA, and its future conferences.

  • Cost and Payment Plans for MMTA Apprentices
    • Cost is $20,000.00, or $10,000/year.
    • Upon acceptance, a $2,000.00 commitment fee is due within 30 days.
    • The remainder ($8,000.00) is due at least 60 days prior to the start of the first course, or February 5, 2013.
    • Any application fees or costs incurred in taking the pre-training course on "How to Read an Ephemeris" or the Equivalency Exam, may be deducted from this final payment, if payment is made on time.
    • For those who pay the entire $10,000 (less rebates on entrance fees) prior to December 31, 2012, you will receive an additional $250.00 credit (i.e. $9,750.00 less entrance and pre-training fees).
    • In the case of late payments without explanation in a timely manner, your slot as an apprentice will be considered vacated and another applicant will be offered your slot from the MMTA waiting list. You may still be considered as an on-line student if you wish.

  • MMTA Financial Policy
  • 1. Payment Policies:

That means you must be available 4 times per year, for two years, over three-day weekends, to view the live broadcast of each course. Exceptions are allowed for those in faraway time zones. In that case, those who are accepted as MMTA students must make a commitment to view the on-line raw footage of each course within two weeks after each course is presented.

    2. Completion of Application Form and application fee for this category.

    3. Passage of the "Entrance Exam" based on the "Basic Principles of Geocosmic Studies for Financial Market Timing: How to Read an Ephemeris." This material can be learned via the DVD on the same subject offered by MMTA. Or if you know this material, you may simply take an equivalency exam to demonstrate your grasp of the subject.

  • MMTA Financial Policy

3. Open Entry/Open Exit: The third category is known as the "Open Entry/Open Exit" students. This is also known as "Pay as You Go." This category consists of students who wish to learn at their own pace, one course at a time, without having to commit to future courses or any particular order of courses. The OE/OE participant pays for each course chosen to take. You will not be present for the on-site presentations, but rather you will view the produced DVD version of each course that will be available at least 30 days after the completion of each course.

There are actually two categories of Open Entry/Open Exit students. The first is for those who wish a certificate upon completing all courses, and the second is for those who do not wish a certificate. In fact, you may start out as one and switch to the other at any time.

  • Requirements for MMTA Open Entry/Open Exit Students Wishing to Receive a Certificate Upon Completion of All 8 Courses

    2. Completion of Application Form and application fee for this category.

    • You may apply anytime. Each course will not available until about 30 days after it is presented on site.

  • Requirements for MMTA Open Entry/Open Exit Students Not Wishing to Receive a Certificate Upon Completion of All 8 Courses
  • 1. There are no requirements for those who do not wish to receive a certificate of completion. If you wish to change your mind and receive a certificate of completion, then you must go back and fulfill the requirements (as given above) of those who do wish to receive a certificate of completion.

    • If, after the first course, you wish to be upgraded to "On-Line Student Category," you will be required to pay for the remainder of the courses still to come during that year at the rate of $2,500/course.
